What’s on My Plate? June 12, 2008

Filed under: Whatz on My Plate — whatzonmyplate @ 10:35 pm

I was on the phone with a dear friend earlier this afternoon and as I regaled her with all the meals I had made for myself and my boyfriend this week; I thought to myself… “Geez, is this really ALL I have to talk about!?!” You see, usually I DO have more interesting things to talk about but recently I moved to Las Vegas and… how do I say this without sounding like a total loser… I am currently job challenged. So between going to the gym, sending out resumes and searching various job sites I am planning and preparing meals for my boyfriend and me. So… with all this excellent free time on my hands, I thought why not blog about all those meals and tips instead of boring my friends with them over the phone. I also thought I could use this as a forum to discuss other silly foodie items such as the Food Network and Bravo’s Top Chef. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions. Happy Cooking and Welcome to What’s on My Plate!!!

Erin, Your dad saved this email for me and I just had to check it out. I think you’ve missed your calling in life. Stop looking for a Marketing job and look for a job as a food critic or yes, even a Chef. I can’t wait to try some of these recipes.
